Get ready for this wonderful 8-night tour, combining walks through historic towns located at the top of the hills. Take a walk along peaceful trails: one starts on St. Francis's Way – it runs along the stretch that Saint Francis took on his last visit to Assisi in 1226 – and another on the Sentiero degli Ulivi (Olive Trail).  Discover these rural routes full of exotic flora and fauna, crossing the olive groves that date back to Roman times. Stroll along the pilgrimage trails through sacred forests that, for years, have been cared for by Franciscan monks. This is the perfect holiday for lovers of food, wine, flora and fauna. If you are looking for opportunities for bird watching, to see art and history and to swim this route is for you.
  • Travel to the town of Assisi, considered the jewel of the Umbria region.
  • Visit one of Italy's best-preserved medieval cities: Spello.
  • Enjoy the gastronomy of the region called 'cucina povera' and try the delicious dish of Stogonzoni pasta.
  • Discover the secluded Chapels of Saint Francis, the great Sassovivo Abbey, and the ruins of Campello Alto.
