Travel & transfers
To get to the start of your route, my recommendation is to fly into Glasgow Airport, as it is the closest airport.
From there you can take the "500 Airport Express" bus to the "Dundas Street" stop. This bus runs every 10 minutes and is operated by "First Bus".
From there, you can take the "Scotrail" (train) from Queen Street Station to Milngavie. You can get tickets in advance on their website or you can buy them there directly.
If you can't find suitable flights to Glasgow, another option would be to fly to Edinburgh, although from Edinburgh, you will need to take a bus to Glasgow (Megabus AIR).
At the end of your journey in Inverarnan, you can always catch the 914, 915 and 916 buses, operated by "Citylink" or take the train to Glasgow Queen Street, operated by "Scotrail".
