Day 1 - Arrival in Murren
Mürren is waiting for you to start your journey. This grand Alpine village with its idyllic mountains and stunning views will mark a high point for your walking this week.

This chalet-style hotel has 20 rooms divided into two buildings. It was recently renovated, and among its facilities it offers a living room, restaurant and outdoor room. 

Located in the centre of Mürren, the hotel will give you incredible panoramic views of the region and also free access to the city's sports centre and public ice rink.

Day 2 - Murren to Wengen 1,8 miles | 2,9 km
Start your amazing walk to Wengen, a charming village located 1,300 metres above sea level, which also enjoys one of the best views towards the Alps. There you will encounter an unparalleled calm.

The spectacular walk to the village can be combined with the train from Mürren to Grutschalp and then use the cable car to Lauterbrunnen and walk to Wengen. Vehicles are not allowed there, so you can only access these locations by train or on foot.

Day 3 - Wengen to Grindelwald 8,2 miles | 13,3 km
Today you have a walk through fascinating landscapes, each step will delight you overlooking the imposing Swiss Alps.

The day starts with a train transfer on your account to Eigergletscher. Once there, you will ascend to the Eiger Trail. This section will take you right in front of Eiger Nordwand, the north face of the imposing Eiger. From here, you can enjoy the panorama over Wetterhorn and Grosse Scheidegg.  

Afterwards, you will continue along a breathtaking path to Grindelwald. On the way you can take a detour to Alpiglen, from where you can shorten the walk by taking a train to Grindelwald. 

The village of Grindelwald is a spectacle in itself and is one of the most visited in the Swiss Alps. When you get there, you'll understand why.

Day 4 - Walk to Grosse Scheidegg 15,7 miles | 25,3 km
You will start the day by taking the cable car to First Station, located at an altitude of 2,166 metres. Upon arrival, you will start your journey to Bachalpsee, an idyllic lake in the mountains that reflects the snowy landscape of the Alps in its crystal-clear turquoise waters. 

Later, you'll head to the Grosse Scheidegg mountain pass at 1,962 metres. And finally, you will descend towards Grindelwald while enjoying the views of the alpine peaks. 

You will also have another option for the day: Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest mountain station at an altitude of 3,454m. You will arrive there on a delightful train ride on your own account. From here, you can look out over the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau mountain peaks, as well as the largest glacier in the Alps. At the top, you will see a wonderful alpine world made of ice, snow, and rock. A fascinating experience.
