Day 1 - Arrival in Tralee
We recommend flying to Dublin Airport or Shannon Airport, and from there, take a bus to Tralee.

Day 2 - Tralee to Camp 12 miles I 20 km
During this route you will find the Blennerville Windmill, included within the Guinness Book of Records as the largest windmill still active.
You will continue on an ascent in the nature reserve area of the Slieve Mish Mountains and cross the River Finglas.

Day 3 - Camp to Annascaul 11 miles I 17 km
Explore Caherconree Mountain, one of Ireland's ten highest, and enjoy the green landscapes characteristic of the Dingle Way.
Stop on the shore of the Inch Beach Nature Reserve, and enjoy an afternoon on the beach before arriving in Annascaul.

Your walk starts in a rural area that will take you to the ruins of Minard Castle, located on the Dingle Peninsula. The path continues to Lispole and ends in Dingle, where you can spend a pleasant time in one of its pubs.

Day 5 - Dingle to Dunquin 14 miles I 23 km
Head to the Port of Ventry, where you can enjoy its extensive beach. The tour will continue through Slea Head, overlooking the famous Blasket Islands, and through archaeological treasures and fortresses that reflect the history of the place, until you reach Dunquin.

Day 6 - Dunquin to Ballydavid 13 miles I 21 km
It will be a day of coastal walking next to the Atlantic Ocean. You will visit Ferriter's Cove Bay, where the parish of Dún Urlainn is located and you will see the mouth of the Three Sisters.
End your day at Smerwick Harbour Beach.
Ballydavid or Feohanagh: If there is no accommodation available in Ballydavid, you will need to walk to Feohanagh, which is 2.4 kilometres from Ballydavid. Depending on where you stay, the walking distance may vary slightly.

Day 7 - Ballydavid to Cloghane 16 miles I 26 km
Head for Mount Brandon, the highest point you'll tour during your vacation, is located at an altitude of 952 metres, in the centre of the Brandon Group mountain range, and is considered one of the 10 highest peaks in Ireland. Venture up this mountain, the endpoint of the Christian pilgrimage route known as Cosan na Naomh. (If you wish to reduce the number of kilometres on this stage, you can head straight to Cloghane without passing Mount Brandon.)
The tour ends in Cloghane, where you can spend some time on the River Owenmore, and enjoy a drink in one of its pubs.

Continue along The Dingle Way, across the shores of Brandon and Tralee Bays and the surrounding villages, including Castlegregory, named after the castle built by Gregory Hoare in the 16th century.

The route back to Camp will be around the coast. Enjoy and relax during the last day of your holiday on beautiful beaches where you will also have several kilometres of coastline that will offer you the opportunity to fish.

To arrive at the start of your journey, the best option is to fly into Kerry Airport, as it is the closest airport to your first destination.
From the airport you can take the 271 or 40 bus operated by “Expressway” to Tralee, which is approximately a 30 minute journey.
At the end of your journey in Camp, you can always take bus 275, operated by “ Bus Eireann ”, to Tralee and from there to the airport from where you return.

Is luggage transfer included? What are the luggage requirements?
Absolutely! Each traveller has included 1 piece of luggage that we will transfer between your accommodations. It's important that this piece of luggage meets the following criterias:
- Maximum weight of 45 lbs (20 kg).
- Must be only 1 piece of luggage without any attachments or accessories.
- Should not contain valuables, fragile items, food or medications.
- Must be correctly identified (booking reference of your trip and the full name of the trip holder).
What should my physical preparation be?
This route is rated as of medium-low difficulty for regular walkers. On most days there are walks of 6 to 8 hours and sometimes there are some more crowded sections where you should take care with traffic.
The altitude on the routes along the Dingle Way ranges from 350 to 650 metres, which makes it a relatively simple route, without extremes, but with various slopes.
What is the best time of year to travel?
You can do the route from March to October. Between April and May is the most popular time, due to good weather. If you start the route in early October, you can enjoy the Dingle Food Festival during four days.
Ireland's climate is mainly influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, as a result, it has no extreme temperatures as in other countries found at similar latitudes. The average temperature is about 10º C.
How far in advance should I book my trip?
We recommend that you book as soon as you are sure about your dates, as accommodation can fill up very quickly in this area.
