Day 1 - Arrival in Cortela
You can start your holiday by arriving at Venice airport, the closest airport to Cortela, a small and pretty village, where the whole route begins and ends.

Day 2 - Cortela to Arqua Petrarca 11,3 miles I 18,3 km
You will start the day leaving the small village of Cortela, to head, amidst beautiful vineyards and forests, towards Mount Fasolo, located in the mountainous region of the Carnic Alps. It is famous for its breathtaking natural beauty, its biodiversity and its varied fauna and flora. 

Further on, you will come across Villa Beatrice d'Este, a beautiful building that, in the 13th century, functioned as a Benedictine monastery. In the 16th century, the buildings were transformed into a Renaissance villa.

At 300 metres from the villa, you will find the Gemola mountain, from where you can enjoy the incredible panoramic views.

The route continues uphill and downhill until it reaches Arqua Petrarca.

Day 3 - Enjoy your day in Arqua Petrarca
Today you have the opportunity to discover one of the most beautiful villages in Italy: Arqua Petrarca. The charm and peace of this place captivated the poet Francesco Petrarca, who spent his last years here and after whom the village is named.

Arqua Petrarca has numerous sites of historical interest. These include Piazza Roma, where the Palazzo Contarini, the church of Santa Maria Assunta and an altarpiece by Palma the Younger are located.

Today's ride will take you through a wooded landscape, where you will appreciate the natural richness of this area. 

You will continue to Villa Barbarigo, surrounded by stunning gardens that have been listed, on many occasions, as the most beautiful gardens in Italy. It is a great example of baroque design, characterised by its complexity, symbolism and beauty.

You will end the tour in the picturesque village of Galzignano Terme, located in the heart of the Euganean Hills.

Day 5 - Enjoy you day in Galzignano Terme
This is the perfect day to rest and get to know the small town of Galzignano Terme, famous for being part of the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills, an area of natural beauty, ideal for walking and contemplating the landscapes of the region. 

If you wish, you can also take a bus (except on Sundays) to Padua, a city full of art and history. Here you can visit the Basilica of St. Anthony and the Scrovegni Chapel.In addition, you can admire works of art such as the Cappella degli Scrovegni and the Gattamelata Statue, sculpted by Donatello. All this, while still having a coffee in Prato della Valle, the largest square in Italy.

Day 6 - Galzignano Terme to Teolo 6,7 miles I 10,8 km
You will start this day with an ascent to Mount Rua (416 metres). At the top is the ancient monastery Eremo di Santa Maria Annunziata, built in 1542.

The route continues along green paths towards Rocca Pendice, an imposing massif of volcanic rock. At the top of the rock you can see the ruins of the castle of Speronella

On your descent to Teolo, you will enjoy the wonderful scenery of the hills, characteristic of this region.

Day 7 - Enjoy your day in Teolo
In Teolo, you can enjoy the stories that its architecture hides.

In this destination you have several walks to choose from, all are beautiful. If you wish, you can take a circular route through Monte della Madonna, or have a longer day taking the bus or train to the magical Venice.

A path through imposing vineyards will take you to the highest point of this route through Veneto, on Mount Venda, located at an altitude of 601 metres.

Here you will be able to see the beautiful plains and hills that you have travelled through during your holiday. Continue along paths surrounded by oak and chestnut trees to finish the stage in Cortela.
