Day 1 - Arrival at St. Jean Pied de Port

Day 2 - St. Jean Pied de Port to Roncesvalles 15 miles | 24 km

Day 3 - Roncesvalles to Zubiri 12 miles | 20 km
This day will not be very demanding, because most of the time you will walk over flat terrain and cross beautiful forests.
The walk begins in the Sorginaritzaga Forest (or Robledal de las Brujas), named after famous covens in the 16th century.
Later you will ascend to Alto de Mezquiriz, with a height of 920 m, and Alto de Erro, at 800 m.
Then you will descend into Zubiri, the capital of the Esteribar Valley, a place located in a privileged and fascinating natural environment.
Upon arrival you will find the beautiful Puente de la Rabia bridge, a medieval passage over the River Arga.
