Day 1 - Arrival in Pamplona
This is a historic and culturally rich city that you can't miss. Discover its impressive walls or visit the Plaza del Castillo, a fantastic place surrounded by constructions dating back to the 18th century and pleasant cafes, including Cafe Iruna, renowned for having as a client, the famous American writer and journalist Ernest Hemingway.

Day 2 - Pamplona to Puente la Reina 14 miles | 23 km

Travel & transfers
The second option is to fly to Pamplona airport (PNA). If you choose this option we recommend checking flight availability in advance, as it is a small airport.
At the end of your trip in Santiago de Compostela, we recommend flying from Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ), which is only 15 minutes from the city center. As there is always a big choice of taxis and bus lines running every 10 minutes to the airport, you will be able to return easily.
