Overview

Explore the ancient trails on Italy's Amalfi Coast among lemon trees and terraced vineyards with pleasing views. The Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has attracted visitors to its impressive coastline since Victorian times.

However, its attraction is no less intense today. Explore Amalfi, Ravello and Positano, picturesque hillside towns and villages.

Not only will you walk along the "Path of the Gods", which is justifiably the most famous walk on the Amalfi Coast, but you can also try the fabulous seafood, take a day trip to the island of Capri and, if you want to, you can visit the ruins of Pompeii.

  • Walk along the Amalfi Coast and its network of ancient trails, in southern Italy.
  • Discover the charming town of Ravello and its colourful gardens.
  • Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the photogenic city of Positano.
  • Enjoy some of the best frutti di mare (seafood) in the world.
  • Explore the world-famous island of Capri at your own pace.

Naples Airport is the best to fly into. You can take the Curreri bus to Sorrento and then the Sita bus to Amalfi or, if you prefer, you can arrange private taxi transfers to Amalfi.

    FAQs

We suggest you to make the reservation as soon as possible, as soon as you have decided your travel dates as this destination is extremely popular and accommodation bookings sell out quickly.

Yes, it's included. We will transfer the luggage between each accommodation according to your itinerary. Each person can take a suitcase up to 20 kg (45 lbs).

These routes are rated as moderate and are between 3.5 and 5.5 hours of walking each day. Some of the walks are more difficult due to significant ascents and descents in altitude.

This tour is for you if you are in good physical shape and enjoy coastal walks with spectacular views, gastronomic adventures, excellent seafood, wine and a lot of history.

Some walks are on steep cliff edges, which would not be suitable for people with vertigo. Most of the route is on dirt trails and stepped roads, although occasionally you'll find asphalt roads.

You will need comfortable clothing and good walking shoes or boots, waterproof jacket and trousers, a backpack and hats or hats/gloves, etc.

Spring is magnificent on the Amalfi Coast, and April, May and June are absolutely lovely. Autumn is a perfect time of year, as the landscape is formed by a palette of gold and red colours, so September and October are a must-see.

July and late August can become very hot, so we recommend that you start your walks early to avoid the heat of the day, as this can slow you down, although the cities and towns are vibrant and full of activity, which is great.

Naples Airport is the best to fly into. You can take the Curreri bus to Sorrento and then the Sita bus to Amalfi or, if you prefer, you can arrange private taxi transfers to Amalfi.

You can stop at any city on the way and call a taxi, or one of our local representatives, whose contact information is in the information package we will deliver prior to departure.

Because it is a highly-demanded tourist destination, local taxis and vehicle services are available, or you can request your transfer from one accommodation to another in advance on the days when we transfer your baggage. Specific contact numbers can be found in the information package, or you can request assistance from the hotel manager.

If you require medical services, seek immediate assistance at the hotel or nearby hospital. As always, our 24-hour support is just a phone call away.
