    FAQs

We recommend booking as soon as you have decided your plans because Lake Garda is an extremely popular area. Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. Anyway, we'll accommodate your plans to find the best option.

In general, it is a moderate trip with walks of between 8 and 15 km daily. Routes include ascents and descents from 800 to 900 metres high.

Day 3 is the most challenging of the week, as the ascent will be of 1,200 metres to the Tosa Pedrotti Refuge.

Although the routes of this trip are not technically difficult, some roads are remote and high up, so it is recommended for walkers experienced on mountain trails and who do not suffer from vertigo.

Hat, gloves, comfortable clothes and good walking boots, ideally waterproof. A backpack where you can bring clothes for the two nights you will spend in the mountain hut, including sleeping bag and ground blanket.

In the refuge, you can rent a sleeping bag. Anyway, when you book we will send you a detailed list of everything you need for this walk.

In summer, from July to September, you will have warm temperatures and sunny days perfect for hiking. The average temperature can reach 25ºC, but always accompanied by a gentle wind that will cool the walk.

As you ascend, the temperature will decrease by about 6.5ºC for every 1,000 metres of height. At the beginning and end of the season, you could find some small snowy areas.

You can take advantage of the days when we transfer your luggage from one accommodation to another and, if you notify us in advance, you can take the taxi that will make that journey to avoid walking.

Alternatively, you can make use of local public transport or taxis in the area. To and from the mountain huts, the only option is to walk.

The two nights you'll spend in mountain huts is a cosy experience where you will enjoy the unsurpassed hospitality of the locals in The Dolomites. Accommodation is considered as a mixed room with bunk beds and shared bathroom, but if you require a private room, we can organise a smaller room, subject to availability.

Please note that in mountain or refuge cabins there are paid hot showers and beds are usually allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend you bring your ground blanket. If you don't have a sleeping bag, don't worry because you can rent one on arrival.

Yes, it's included. We will transfer the luggage between each accommodation according to your itinerary. Each person can take a suitcase up to 20 kg (45 lbs).
