North Queensferry, a picturesque village located between the iconic Forth and Forth Road bridges, is the starting point for this magical tour of the Fife Coast.
You will start the day walking through the magnificent Carlingnose Wildlife Reserve, a true paradise for lovers of flora and fauna. There you will find a wide variety of exotic plant species.
Later you'll continue to St. David’s Harbour and pass Downing Point, a World War I military complex.
At the end of the day, you will walk near Aberdour, a small and historic village on the south coast of Fife.
The first section on this day will be through a volcanic area and along the way you can find several marine fossils.
Arriving in Kirkcaldy, you will find Ravenscraig Castle, a fortress built in the early 15th century, during the reign of James II.
Later you will continue to Dysart, an ancient town located on the southeast coast, which in the past, formed part of the properties that the powerful St. Clair family owned.
Then, heading on to Leven, you will pass through the Wemyss Caves, considered as a part of national heritage.
At the beginning of the day you can choose between walking along the sandy beaches until you reach Lundin Links, a small village located on the south coast of Fife, or go along a route that crosses the dunes, where you can enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna.
If you feel adventurous, you can take the opportunity to walk along the Elie Chainwalk, a path that winds along the base of a cliff.
Later on, you'll have the chance to stop at an old windmill and then follow your way to Anstruther, a beautiful fishing village south of St. Andrews, where you can enjoy a top-class fish dish.
The walk to St. Andrews will be demanding, but it will be worth it, as you can enjoy fascinating landscapes and contemplate the coast at its best.
You will pass near the Caiplie Caves, a cave system between Anstruther and Crail. Then you'll continue to Fife Ness, a promontory at the easternmost point of Fife, and you'll find numerous golf courses, very characteristic in this region.
On this last day of walking you will learn about the ruins of St. Andrews Castle, the former residence of important Scottish bishops and archbishops, and then follow your way to the Eden Estuary Nature Reserve, a natural treasure, a refuge for a large number of species, including port seals.
You'll continue through the woods to Newport-On-Tay, a small town east of the Tay road and railway bridges.

The second is to get to Glasgow, and from there take a train to North Queensferry (about 1h 15m).
The third option is to get to Dundee, and from there a train to North Queensferry (about 1h 20m).
When you've finished your trip, you can head to St. Andrews and from there take a bus to continue your tour of Scotland or head to the city from where you're taking the flight back to your place of origin.
