Day 1 - Arrival in Amalfi
From Naples International Airport, you can reach the city of Amalfi by public transport or taxi and it will take approximately 3 hours.
Amalfi is a historic town with a cluster of white buildings clinging to the hillside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It was the former capital of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi and is surrounded by captivating mountains.
Take the time to explore and walk along its beautiful promenade and around Marina, the colourful sports marina.

Day 2 - Enjoy your day in the surroundings of Amalfi 2,7 miles | 4,4 km
You will start the day by heading towards the Torre dello Ziro, a Saracen watchtower, which dates back to 1480 and was built on the ruins of a 12th-century tower. This is one of the most beautiful panoramic points of the whole coast.
After visiting the Tower, you will continue to Atrani, the smallest village on the Amalfi Coast and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This town still preserves the charm of the small villages of southern Italy, which are characterised by a very particular architecture.
From Atrani, you will have to travel on your own account by bus to the village of Ravello, located on a hill 365 metres above sea level, which offers wonderful views of the coast and the Gulf of Salerno. You will start the day with an inclusive transfer from Amalfi to Bomerano. The route will take you along the Path of the Gods, the most famous walk in the region offering views across the peninsula and with Capri's renowned Faraglioni cliffs marking the "end of the earth".
There are a variety of picnic spots with stunning panoramic views as you make your way to the village of Nocelle.
After passing the village, you'll descend through lush terraces to the vertical, pastel-coloured town of Positano.

You'll start the day with an inclusive transfer from Positano to Colli di Fontanelle. Upon arrival, you'll walk through the olive groves as you carefully climb up to Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, a hilltop village nestled between the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno. From its location comes the suffix of its name sui due golfi (over two gulfs).
The panoramic views of Capri, Procida and the Li Galli Islands make for a fantastic picnic stop. These islands were once considered the home of the mythical mermaids that lured sailors to the rocks.
You will cross a paved road that will lead you, between geranium-covered houses, to the little fishing resort of Marina del Cantone.

Today you can decide whether to stay in the wonderful village of Marina del Cantone, next to its pebble beach bathed by incredibly blue waters, or take a walk in the beautiful Bay of Ieranto (Baia di Ieranto) - it would be a real shame to miss it!
During the crossing, you will visit the village of Nerano and enjoy the sea views along the ascent to the Montalto Tower. This tower is perched on top of a 100-metre-high cliff with a truly fabulous panorama over the Bay of Marina del Cantone and the Li Galli Islands.
After visiting the fortress, you will head towards the Bay of Ieranto, the flagship locality on this trip. On your way back, you will walk through the olive groves as you head towards Marina del Cantone.

The best way to get to the Amalfi Coast is to fly into Naples - Capodichini International Airport.
From there, you can take the "Alibus" bus and get off at the "Napoli Piazza Garibaldi" stop, where you will find the train station.
From there you can take the train "1" (Napoli Centrale) which leaves every hour to Castellammare di Stabia. You should get off at the station "Via Nocera".
We always recommend taking a taxi from Castellammare di Stabia directly to Amalfi, to make the most of your time, but if you prefer you can take the local bus 5080, which will take you to Amalfi.
At the end of your journey, you can take the bus "L1" from Sorrento at the "Sant'Agnello" stop to Naples centre (Piazza Garibaldi) and from there take the "Alibus" to Naples International Airport.
Another option would be to take the boat "Positano Jet 3265" from Sorrento to the port of Naples.
From there, you can take the "Alibus" bus and get off at the "Napoli Piazza Garibaldi" stop, where you will find the train station.

Is luggage transfer included? What are the luggage requirements?
Absolutely! Each traveller has included 1 piece of luggage that we will transfer between your accommodations. It's important that this piece of luggage meets the following criterias:
- Maximum weight of 45 lbs (20 kg).
- Maximum dimensions 65x50x40 cm.
- Must be only 1 piece of luggage without any attachments or accessories.
- Should not contain valuables, fragile items, food or medications.
- Must be correctly identified (booking reference of your trip and the full name of the trip holder).
How early should I book my trip?
We suggest you make the reservation as soon as possible, as soon as you have decided your travel dates as this destination is extremely popular and accommodation bookings sell out quickly.
What is the best time of year to do this route?
Spring is magnificent on the Amalfi Coast, and April, May and June are absolutely lovely.
Autumn is a perfect time of year, as the landscape is formed by a palette of gold and red colours, so September and October are unmissable.
July and late August can become very hot, so we recommend that you start your walks early to avoid the heat of the day, as this can slow you down, although the cities and towns are vibrant and full of activity, which is great.
What should my physical preparation be?
This tour is made over stone paths, coastal paths and some forest trails.
If you enjoy flora and fauna, art and history, looking for opportunities to swim, tour coastal routes, and explore islands, this route is for you.
You must be a confident walker and in good physical shape, as as ascents and descents are frequent, particularly on coastal paths, which makes this holiday more demanding than distances suggest.
Day 3 routes are not suitable for people afraid of heights. Travellers with knee problems may have difficulty descending stone stairs, so we recommend using walking sticks.
