Day 1 - Arrival in San Vito lo Capo
The first day will be in San Vito lo Capo, a charming town with a beautiful fine sand beach and crystal clear waters.

Day 2 - Enjoy your day in Monte Monaco 8,2 miles | 13,2 km
Start your walk towards Monte Monaco, an impressive peak that dominates the landscape of San Vito Lo Capo and offers unparalleled panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Sicilian coastline.
As you ascend along its trails, surrounded by Mediterranean shrubs and fragrant wild herbs, you can pause to take in the striking contrast between the limestone rocks and the deep blue of the sea.
After reaching the summit and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, begin your descent toward the coast, where you'll be greeted with views of the turquoise waters and hidden coves at the foot of the mountain.
Later, you'll stroll along coastal paths leading you back to San Vito Lo Capo, where you can rest, embraced by the calm of the sea and the warmth of this charming seaside village.

Day 3 - San Vito Lo Capo to Marettimo
After a transfer from San Vito Lo Capo you will arrive in Erice, a fantastic medieval town, located on top of a hill. There you can explore its beautiful marble streets, get to know the ancient city gates, the medieval churches and the incredible Norman castle.
In addition, you can have one of the best views of the Trapani salt flats and the Egadi Islands.
Later on, we will transfer you to Trapani to take the included ferry to Marettimo. Before boarding, we recommend you taste the famous "granita", a typical Sicilian dessert, similar to a slushie.
In Marettimo, you can enjoy a pleasant walk before dinner in one of the village's restaurants.
In addition, you can have one of the best views of the Trapani salt flats and the Egadi Islands.

Today you can take a tour to Punta Libeccio, to the southwest of Marettimo. Along the way, you will find beautiful pine fields and slopes covered with citrus plants.
Arriving there, you can relax, have a picnic near the lighthouse, watch the birds flying over the hot springs, and see the Egadi Islands.

Day 5 - Marettimo to Levanzo 5,4 miles | 8,7 km
This will be the last day in Marettimo, ideal for going to Levanzo. Start the day with an inclusive ferry transfer, which will take you from Marettimo to Levanzo.
Once in Levanzo, you begin a circular route that winds through characteristic Mediterranean vegetation and gently ascends towards the Palazzo Florio. The path continues with moderate ups and downs, crossing the mountainous area until it reaches the Saracen Tower, a strategic point with sweeping views of the coast.
From there, you begin a long descent that leads you to Spiaggia di Cala Minnola, a sheltered cove with clear waters, ideal for a break by the sea. The route ends with a scenic coastal stretch that skirts the coastline and takes you back to the port of Levanzo.
At the end of the route, you will have a transfer included by ferry from Levanzo to Marettimo.

You will start your day with an inclusive ferry transfer from Marettimo to Trapani.
Upon arrival in the city of Trapani, we will transfer you to the top of Mount Barbaro, to a must-see place: the 2,500-year-old Segesta Temple and an incredibly well-preserved theatre.
At the end of your visit to this beautiful temple, we will transfer you to Scopello, a charming seaside village.

When you finish your trip, from Scopello, you can go to Palermo Airport by taking the bus to Castellammare Del Golfo operated by Azienda Siciliana Trasporti and, from there, the train to Palermo airport via Piraineto.

Absolutely! Each traveller has included 1 piece of luggage that we will transfer between your accommodations. It's important that this piece of luggage meets the following criterias:

- Must be only 1 piece of luggage without any attachments or accessories.
- Should not contain valuables, fragile items, food or medications.
- Must be correctly identified (booking reference of your trip and the full name of the trip holder).
Will I be free to choose my walks in Sicily?
Our self-guided walks give you more flexibility. You can decide when to start and when to stop. We'll give you the walking route instructions, and provide detailed maps so you can explore at your own pace, safely.
What should my physical preparation be?
This route is of medium-low difficulty, making it ideal for people looking for between 4 and 6 hours of walking a day, and with ascents and descents of up to 700 m. You do not need to have experience in walking, however, it is advisable that you are in good physical condition and in good health.
Some sections of the walk have uneven terrain so it will be necessary to climb.
What walking equipment should I bring?
Since the walks will be on rocky coastal trails, with small ascents and descents, it is essential to have walking boots.
One of the walks on the island of Marettimo may not be suitable for people afraid of heights.
