    Travel & Transfers

To get to the starting point of this walking holiday through Provence we recommend the following options. The first is to get to Marseilles-Provence Airport and from there take a bus or train to Apt (it will take between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the route).

The second is to get to one of the airports in Paris and take a train to Avignon (3h approximately). From Avignon, you can take a bus to Apt (1h 15m approximately).

You can visit the Lignes Express Régionale webpage for train options.

When you finish your trip, you will have an included transfer that will take you from Roussillon to Apt so you can return to your home city or continue your journey through France.

The best time to tour this region is in spring and autumn. In spring you will see many flowers; In autumn, the spectacular colours of the Provence region will delight you.

Temperatures in July and August can be very high, so we do not recommend doing the trip at this time, unless you are used to intense heat.

We suggest you book once you have decided your plans, because this French region has a large influx of visitors, especially if you do the route during the summer.

We will always do our best to live up to your expectations.

This route has a low level of difficulty, however, there are some stretches on rocky surfaces, so we remind you of the importance of wearing proper footwear.

We will send you an information dossier once you make the reservation. In it, you will find a list of elements, among which are good walking boots or shoes, warm and waterproof clothes and a backpack.

Yes, it's included. We will transfer the luggage between each accommodation according to your itinerary. Each person can take a suitcase up to 20 kg (45 lbs).

In this case, the best option will be to use public transport to get you to the next destination.
