The first day begins with your arrival at Palma de Mallorca Airport. From there, you will enjoy a included transfer to Fornalutx, located on a beautiful hillside with privileged views of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains.

Day 2 - Enjoy your day in Fornalutx 3,1 miles I 5 km
Today we suggest two options for exploring the area around Fornalutx. The first option is to follow the Camí de s'Alzina Fumadora, an old cobbled path that climbs steadily among twisted olive trees and fragrant orange trees. Although the climb is demanding, the views over the valley and the surrounding mountains make every step worthwhile.

The second alternative is a route that will take you to the Cúber reservoir and then gradually descend to the L'Ofre pass. From there, you will enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of both the bay of Palma and the bay of Alcúdia. The walk then continues through the Biniaraix gorge, following an ancient pilgrimage route surrounded by spectacular rock formations, before finally returning to Fornalutx.

Day 3 - Fornalutx to Sóller 5,4 miles I 8,7 km
The day begins by leaving Fornalutx and heading towards the charming village of Sóller. You will take the Camí de Sa Capelleta, a path that winds its way under the cool shade of pine trees until it reaches the peaceful sanctuary of Sa Capelleta, a perfect place to pause and enjoy the silence of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains.

From there, you will continue descending along winding paths that pass through centuries-old olive groves and the beautiful Sa Figuera valley, until the path finally opens up to the wide bay of Port de Sóller. With its sandy beach, promenade and numerous seafront restaurants, Port de Sóller is an ideal spot to relax and soak up the coastal atmosphere.

To finally reach Sóller, you will need to take the historic tram, an experience as picturesque as it is memorable. You can find all the information on the Tren de Sóller website.

Day 4 - Enjoy your day in Sóller
There are several options for enjoying the landscape and choosing the experience that best suits your pace. One of them is a short walk from Port de Sóller which, following the coast, will take you to the Cap Gros lighthouse and the Muleta Gran area, where an impressive defence tower stands with open views of the Mediterranean.

If you are looking for a more special walk, you can climb up to Torre Picada and, from there, follow a path that runs under the cliffs of Puig Balitx. The route ends at a fantastic viewpoint over the small island of Sa Illeta, a perfect place to enjoy a picnic with unforgettable views.

Another alternative combines walking, boat and tram: you will cross a lush valley and follow a beautiful coastal path to Cala Tuent, one of the most remote and wild coves in the area. At the end, you will return by boat to Port de Sóller and then by tram to Sóller. Please note that the boat service does not operate on Sundays.

If you fancy a different experience, a very popular option is to take the historic train to Palma de Mallorca. This charming wooden narrow-gauge train, in operation since 1912, travels through the Mallorcan countryside between orchards and mountains, offering you a journey that seems to stop time as it takes you to the island's vibrant capital.

You can find all the information on the Tren de Sóller website.

If you prefer to take the day off, you can spend it in Sóller and enjoy the calm atmosphere of the area. Or you can also choose one of the alternatives we suggested the day before.

The day begins by following the Camí del Castell towards Deià, the famous artists' colony located in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. The trail, which forms part of the GR221, winds its way between mountains and sea, offering spectacular views of the coastline that make this one of the most beautiful routes in the area.

When you arrive in Deià, you will be greeted by its honey-coloured houses and creative atmosphere, which has attracted painters, musicians and writers since the 19th century, including the poet and novelist Robert Graves. Today, the village retains that artistic spirit in its small galleries, while offering first-class restaurants where you can sample tapas and local specialities.

Finally, take bus line 203 to Valldemossa, completing a day that combines walking, culture and Mediterranean scenery. You can find more information on the Consorci de Transports de Mallorca website.

Day 7 - Circular route through the Archdukes' Pass 7,7 miles I 12,4 km
The day begins in the charming village of Valldemossa, the starting point of a route that fascinated Archduke Luis Salvador after his trip to Mallorca in 1867. Inspired by the beauty of the area, he mapped out this itinerary, which today will take you to several spectacular viewpoints and ancient reminders of mountain life, such as charcoal and lime kilns that recall the traditional industries of the Sierra de Tramuntana.

This area, known as the Muntanya del Voltor, or Vulture Mountain in Catalan, is a private estate dedicated to an important conservation project that protects local wildlife, including the black vulture, an endangered species that finds one of its most valuable refuges here.

Back in Valldemossa, you can immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of one of Mallorca's most beautiful villages, whose cultural heritage attracted artists and composers such as Chopin, who lived here between 1838 and 1839. Before the day ends, be sure to visit the Cartuja monastery and savour a traditional potato coca in one of its old family bakeries.
