    To get to the starting point on this walking holiday, you can take a flight to Newcastle Airport. It can also be reached by train or bus. When you've finished your trip, from Bowness-On-Solway, you can take a bus (except on Sundays) to Carlisle and from there head to the city from where you'll go back to your place of origin.
