Start the tour in Jezersko, a beautiful valley surrounded by the Kamnik-Savinja Alps in the east and a coral reef in the west. You will continue through Goli Vrh and the Draga Valley to Slovenia's only nature park, Triglav National Park.

    Travel & Transfers

    We recommend starting your holiday at Ljubljana Airport, where several low-cost airlines fly to.

    To get to Jezersko, you can take a bus to Kranj or Ljubljana, where the shuttle service to Jezersko is available. You can also take a taxi for a direct transfer.

    On your return to Ljubljana, take a train at Bohinjska Bistrica station, or a bus in the village of Ribcev.


    The best time to do this route is summer (between June and September), when the climate is good and the highest alpine trails are clear of snow.

    We recommend that you book as soon as you are sure about your dates, as accommodation can fill up very quickly in this area.

    This route is classified as moderate, with walks between 10 and 18 km. it has steep and bordered ascents and descents, so you must have walking experience and be in good physical condition.
