    Travel & Transfers

    To get to the starting point of this walking holiday on The Kerry Way, we recommend the following options:

    The first is to get to Kerry Airport and from there take a bus to Killarney (25 minutes).

    The second is to get to Cork Airport, take a bus to Cork Train Station (20 minutes) and then a train to Killarney (about 1h 30m).

    The third option is to travel to Shannon Airport and from there a train to Killarney (between 2h 50m and 3h 40m).

    You can visit the Irish Rail website for train options.

    When you finish your trip, you can travel from Killarney to one of the nearby airports (Kerry, Cork or Shannon) to return to your home town.

    We recommend that you do this walking holiday between April and August.

    This route has a medium-high level of difficulty, making it ideal for people looking between 5 and 6 hours of walking a day, so it is advisable that you are in very good physical condition to make the most of this walking route.

    Most of the sections are over mountainous terrain, rural trails and only 35% of the roads are paved.

    Although this route is very well signposted, it is advisable to know how to use a compass and read a map, in addition, we will provide you with a complete itinerary of the route with map.

    Yes, it's included. We will transfer the luggage between each accommodation according to your itinerary. Each person can take a suitcase up to 20 kg (45 lbs).
