Overview

Visit the Isle of Arran, popularly known as a version of "Miniature Scotland," where Celtic and Viking influences in the country's historical past converge. On this 9-day Arran coast route, you will appreciate the geological richness presented by this particular Scottish landscape, with rock formations such as dikes, thin sections or sedimentary rocks.

You can walk along numerous extensive beaches in Brodick, Whiting Bay, Sannox and Blackwaterfoot and, in turn, enjoy a varied landscape with lakes, forests, hills and mountains.

The Isle of Arran has been inhabited since the Neolithic period, so you can find cave paintings in the Kings Cave or prehistoric stone monuments.

  • Discover all the surprises of the "Sleeping Warrior", the name given to the island due to the shape of its mountains.
  • Travel back in time with the prehistoric remains you'll get to know on the island.
  • Get to know the culture and traditions strongly imbued by Celts and Vikings.
