Today you will walk between sunflowers and orchids on your way to Quartaia, a charming village where you can stop over for lunch. Then you will follow a wooded path that is part of the Via Francigena.
At the end of the day you can stroll along the River Elsa and marvel at the colour of the water that contrasts with the hue of its limestone stones. Enjoy the views as you advance to a 12th-century Benedictine abbey, where you can take a break before completing the last stretch of your route.

Today you will travel the Via Francigena following in the footsteps of pilgrims through immense fields of sunflowers and apples. During the walk you will skirt small villages towards the River Foci.
