Day 1 - Arrival in Tui

Day 2 - Tui to O Porrino 9,9 miles | 16 km
Take the forest trail to Ponte das Febres over San Simon Creek, where San Telmo, patron saint of sailors, became ill, and died in 1251.
Cross A Magdalena and the large stone bridge over the Louro to Orbenlle. Arriving in O Porrino, visit the Town Hall, the Fonte do Cristo, the Madrid Metro monument and the Botica Nova.

Day 3 - O Porrino to Arcade 13,6 miles | 22 km
Climb up to the Santiaguino Chapel and descend to Redondela, an important fishing village located in the heart of the Vigo estuary, known as the "town of viaducts".
Admire the panoramic view of the Vigo estuary, the Parish Church of Cedeira, the Convent of Vilavella and the Museum of Meirande. Arriving in Arcade, the mouth of the River Verdugo and the oyster capital of Galicia, visit the Church of Santiago de Arcade from the late 12th century.

Day 4 - Arcade to Pontevedra 6,8 miles | 11 km
Cross the parishes of Figueirido and Santa Comba de Bertola to the Chapel of Santa Marta and then take the road to Pontevedra. Walk through the cobblestoned streets and squares of one of the most beautiful cities in Galicia.
Pontevedra, in addition to Santiago de Compostela, has a great deal of heritage features: The Ruins of Santo Domingo, the Royal Basilica of Santa Maria la Mayor and the symbol of the city, the Church of the Pilgrim.

Day 5 - Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis 14,9 miles | 24 km
Advance to Briallos, deviate and visit the Barosa Waterfalls, a natural place with a beautiful drop of 60 metres and 14 mills along the waterfalls. You'll arrive in Caldas de Reis, served by the Umia and Bermana rivers, and one of the most important thermal villas in Galicia that makes it, since prehistory, a place often visited for the medical properties of its waters.
If you wish, take the "Water Route", a circular path of 9 km where you can see waterfalls and natural spaces bathed by water, or visit the Church of Santa Maria de Caldas, Santo Tomas and that of San Andres de Caesar, the Botanical Park and Garden, which has been declared as a Picturesque Park and Historical Garden.

Once in Vigo, you can take a taxi to Tui, as it is only 25 minutes away. Or if you prefer, you can take a bus that will take you directly to Tui. The local buses that cover this route are XG883004, XG883006 and XG883008, operated by “Transporte Público de Galicia”.
If you can't find flights to Santiago, as a second option, you can fly to Vigo Airport (VGO), a local airport that receives domestic flights.
At the end of your trip in Santiago de Compostela, we recommend flying from Santiago de Compostela Airport, which is only 15 minutes from the city center. With a variety of taxis always available and bus lines running every 10 minutes to the airport, you should have no problem managing this transfer on your own.
