Since the Middle Ages the Camino Frances has been one of the busiest pilgrimage routes and travelled by thousands of pilgrims year after year, who find in this experience the perfect combination between an adventure amid beautiful landscapes with its historical and cultural discovery throughout northern Spain.

You will start in St Jean Pied de Port, a small village in the French Pyrenees, and you will enter the regions of Navarra and La Rioja in Spain, getting to know incredible cities and towns such as Roncesvalles, Pamplona, Los Arcos, and Logrono, among others.

    To start this journey along the Camino Frances to Santiago, you can reach St. Jean Pied de Port Airport.

    In Logrono, you will find Logrono-Agoncillo Airport which operates 6 weekly flights to Madrid. It also has a train station from where services are offered to several Spanish cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Zaragoza, among others.

    You must have good physical endurance to be able to make the most of this walk.

    We recommend you take this walking holiday in spring or autumn. However, it is available also from February to November.

    We recommend that you ​book as soon as you are sure about your dates​, as accommodation can fill up very quickly in this area.

    Once you make your reservation we will send you all the ​detailed information about the specific equipment you need​ for this route, considering recommendations for shoes, boots, clothes and a day-to day backpack.

    Yes, it's included. We will transfer the luggage between each accommodation according to your itinerary. Each person can take a suitcase up to 20 kg (45 lbs).

    The pilgrim's credential can be found upon arrival at your first accommodation. 

    This credential must be stamped in churches, restaurants and hotels during your journey on the Camino de Santiago. At the end of the trip in the city of Santiago, you can obtain the Compostela that certifies you as a pilgrim.
